Prologue is free to the public and will take place before the second preview of What a Young Wife Ought to Know on Wednesday, January 17th at 6:45pm in the GCTC Lower Lobby.
Hannah Moscovitch's What a Young Wife Ought to Know premiered in Halifax to rave reviews in 2015. Set in 1920's Ottawa and produced by Halifax's 2b Theatre, it is a brave and honest examination of love, sex, and fertility, inspired by real stories about young mothers during the early Canadian birth control movement. On January 17th, learn more about how this show came together and hear from experts related to the show.
Prologue offers a unique perspective on the creative process. It's created specifically to complement your theatre experience, whenever you happen to be catching the show. The bar will be open, and you'll have a chance to hear from and mingle with artists and local personalities.
Can't make it in person? Luckily, we'll be livestreaming the event on our Facebook page. For more information about Prologue and to RSVP to guarantee a seat, visit our website here.
